How to tie a tie
Four-In-Hand
Probably the most commonly used tying method. The Four-in-hand is a very basic knot and is suitable for most standard collar shapes.
Half Windsor
A slightly fuller knot, the Half Windsor is becoming more popular. It makes more of a statement and is therefore suitable for bolder ties.
Full Windsor
A large, more symmetrical knot, the Full Windsor is designed to fill the gap created by a Cutaway collar. Its size and shape make a strong impact.
Bow Tie
The classic tie for evening wear where the dress code is specified as ‘black tie’. The bow tie can be worn with a classic or wing collar.
