The Bengal Stripe Collection takes its inspiration from the rare and beautiful fabrics which were first brought to Britain in Regency times by the British East India Company. These unique fabrics formed the foundation of British dressing and were embraced enthusiastically by British society. We have created our Bengal stripe fabric in collaboration with a renowned Italian mill using the brightest and most beautiful shades. They pay homage to this colourful tradition.

Bold, quirky, fresh and unashamedly British, this
is PINK.
A shirting classic, the Bengal Stripe has been around since the early nineteenth century. For Spring/Summer 2013 Thomas Pink reworked this famed fabric using exquisite 120s cloth from a renowned Italian mill in deep painterly hues contrasted with optic white. Our Bengal Collection brings together the best in Jermyn Street heritage and contemporary design.
The vertical stripes create a flattering silhouette and can be worn off-duty with casual trousers or partnered up with a contrast tie and silver cufflinks for a well-suited look.
Be Bold. Wear PINK.

This classic striped design is credited with originating from Bengal, India during the Regency period.
It features stripes of the same width, alternating in dark and light colours. As a design for fabric, it became very popular in Regency Britain (1811-1820) and the name is attributed to another of the region's most famous faces, the Bengal Tiger.
Our collection of Bengal Stripes upholds this tradition of rare and exquisite fabric, whilst our Jermyn Street expertise ensures the shirts enshrine the heritage of shirt making while remaining resolutely contemporary. Using an ultra fine Sateen cotton, the stripes have a depth and lustre to them, whilst the colour palette covers both the classics – red, blue, navy and pink - and a handful of handpicked seasonal tones.
